The SPAR platform does not manage all data by itself. It exchanges data with a few external systems.

🏬 Centric
Centric (Storeworld) is SPAR's back-office system. It is both:
- A file source: it drops assortment and pricing files on an FTP server for the platform to pick up.
- A live service: the platform calls its SOAP web service directly for customer data, order export, and cart calculation.
Product content with status 99 is not imported. The platform saves an import block for the article and deletes any existing product in the same database save. Later content with a non-99 status removes the block and imports the product again.
Store assortment, store prices, and formula regular and promotion prices check this block before processing each article. Blocked articles are skipped without creating or updating products or their assortment and prices. Other articles in the same file are still processed.
These imports share one product resolver. It checks the block, loads an existing product with the data needed by the import, or creates a placeholder for an allowed article. Each import saves its own changes.
🔍 Tweakwise
Tweakwise powers product search and merchandising on the website. The platform regularly exports a product feed for Tweakwise to pick up.
🍳 Boodschappen
Boodschappen is an external recipe service. The platform regularly imports recipes (steps, ingredients, requirements, tips, nutrition details and images) from its API to show them on the website.
